    The Assistant General Counsel position supports the General Counsel of Enel X North America, Inc., providing legal advice and support on various legal issues with an emphasis on review and negotiation of commercial contracts for the company.


    - Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required.
    - 3 to 4 years of legal experience.
    - Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and commercial legal advice and recommendations.
    - Strong communication skills both written and oral; ability to present clear and practical legal positions.
    - Excellent business judgment.
    - Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
    - Ability to influence others and to gain support for his/her ideas.
    - Excellent interpersonal skills; builds strong working relationships across the organization and client base.
    - Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    - Excellent organizational skills, effectively managing priorities while meeting timelines.
    - Ability to handle multiple deliverables at once, with excellent (and demonstrated) time management and prioritization skills.
    - Ability to work cross departmentally across the organization, interacting with other Legal staff, Sales, IT, and additional internal stakeholders on high volume contract workflows.
    - Strong attention to detail and consistency in follow up communications with internal and external customers
    - Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on occasion.
    - Ability to read and speak Italian or Spanish a plus but not required.


    - Lead attorney on subset of commercial contracts, which role includes reviewing a variety of customer and vendor contracts to assess legal risks and identify and facilitate review of non-legal terms and negotiating commercial agreements with counterparties.
    - Advise on solutions to complex problems and ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders and clients.
    - Manage a team of contract specialists.
    - Create corporate documents, research legal files, and verify various deal components.
    - Manage contract administration software processes and participate in development and implementation of processes/procedures relating to contracting and implementation of new products
    - Validate appropriate documentation relating to client contracts, including applicable internal approvals.
