    As Director, Strategic Accounts, you will lead strategy and market development with major accounts across North America. As a key leader of the sales and business development team, you will establish key relationships and deals that drive revenue and strategic direction for the company. A successful candidate will bring a demonstrated track record of sales "hunting" success with large, national and regional commercial, institutional, and industrial customers. You are passionate about the electrification of transportation and you relish the opportunity to apply your outstanding leadership, sales, and strategic planning in a fast-moving company within and growing industry.

    Qualifications

    Skills & Knowledge:
    • Understanding of e-mobility and charging business models, practices, and direction
    • Knowledge of cleantech, renewables, and energy
    • Excellent presentation and communication abilities
    • Ability to assess clients’ needs and problem solve
    • Work collaboratively across multiple groups and stakeholders at all levels
    • Outstanding sales and closing capabilities
    • Ability to work with clients to define success metrics and determine engagement and deployment strategies that fit within budget
    • Demonstrated ability to Influence and help refine the e-Mobility business model and solutions roadmap by soliciting and gathering technical feedback from clients on existing solutions and communicate enhancements back to technical team
    • Self-motivated, independent problem solver and creative thinker with exceptional follow through and the highest levels of integrity and trust across all customer interactions
    Required Qualifications:
    This role requires a confident and professional self-starter, a good listener, someone who is comfortable interfacing with senior level leadership, aggressive in finding and closing business, focused on meeting the customer’s needs, and able to work well within a team of sales managers in a rapidly growing business. Proven success navigating complex sales and generating proposals to meet their unique energy management needs is critical.
    • Minimum of B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree required
    • At least 7 years of outside sales experience
    • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience
    • Experience with closing sales of energy solutions, energy hardware, energy software in the commercial, institutional, and or industrial markets
    • Ability to develop strong customer relationships
    • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
    • An inherent hunter mentality and lead generation expertise as well as the ability to quickly identify and qualify sales opportunities to build and maintain a pipeline for new business
    • Ability to illustrate ROI to C level decision makers, as well as interact with other key influencers such as sustainability, HR, facility managers and engineers
    • Affiliations with industry-specific professional associations
    • Extensive sales experience with major / strategic accounts
    • Extensive travel required
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Previous experience selling into target markets, e.g.: large commercial real estate, industrial end users, fleet companies, smart home (e.g. security, networking), EVSE network operators, dealership networks, and public charging
    • 3+ years in the e-mobility industry
    • Experience in field sales for an energy or e-Mobility technology provider
    • Understanding of construction and EPC work
    • An established network of target market contacts

    Responsibilities

    • Review market and competitive dynamics to establish the strategic accounts go-to-market strategy and sales plan
    • Build up the targeted customers list and create trusted and high integrity relationships with current clients, prospects, partners and key influencers across the targeted segments
    • Develop, analyze and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure that annual and quarterly sales goals are achieved, creating and maximizing revenue opportunities with existing and new target accounts
    • Work closely with product teams and application engineering and other colleagues to create and then present compelling proposals to clients
    • Close business rapidly and effectively and negotiate effective contracts comprising e-mobility and other Enel X related products and services
    • Help design industry-specific programs that maximize value of the complete e-Mobility solutions offerings in hardware, software, and services that melds clients’ needs through assessment of business model options and various differing commissioning policies
    • Manage the transition of contracted projects from sales to operations ensuring the highest levels of customer experience and satisfaction
    • Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to: cold calling, presentations to customer management, selling the value of Enelx X energy services business model, clarifying Enel X solutions value thru live software and hardware demos, maintaining the CRM to be up to date and accurate
    • Coordinate appropriate resources across accounts and facilitate communications amongst internal team members to support project timelines and delivery efforts
    • Coordinate account strategy with other divisions/regions of Enel X, e.g. our European headquarters on strategic accounts
    • Contribute to the overall sales and marketing strategy, as well as product roadmap, based on experience in target markets and client engagements
