  • Overview

    As the e-City Product Manager, you will help shape the future and vision of Enel X’s new smart city division. You will work directly with customers, partners, and consultants to build a data driven product strategy and roadmap. Then, you will own the product development process and provide on-going support to sales and implementation partners. Simply stated, you will help build exceptional solutions that are used by municipalities on a daily basis to have a positive impact on the environment and the communities they serve.

    Responsibilities

    Your responsibilities as a Product Manager will include the following:
    - Conduct primary and secondary market research to develop a product strategy (customer surveys, focus groups, analysts and industry reports, etc.)
    - Develop business plan, in coordination with e-City team, for new product
    - Provide a voice for the customer in the development process
    - Initiate and close pilot projects to test out the product
    - Work with across functional teams, internal divisions, and with external partners to manage the development of the solution
    - Support the product launch with sales tools, sales trainings, and marketing collateral
    - Perform demonstrations on the benefits of the product capabilities for external and internal audiences

    Qualifications

    - 10+ years of professional experience in the energy industry
    - Experience building a product from the ground up through commercial launch
    - Bachelor’s Degree in business or related fields
    - Experience in energy management, demand side management, EV charging, or smart city technology is a plus
    - Strong project management and communication skills
    - Demonstrated success working across sales, marketing, product, finance, and legal teams
    - Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams
    - Comfortable working in a complex matrix organization
    - Analytical mindset
    - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace
    - Positive and solutions-focused mindset
    - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
