Enel X Position
Enel X has an immediate opening for an e-City Business Development Manager, North America. The candidate is responsible for sales planning, development, and execution through direct and indirect sales. The candidate should have a successful history of sourcing and closing new business directly with customers and through channel partners.
- Develop and execute business plans, strategies, and tactics to grow the business - Orchestrate campaigns (strategic or tactical) for direct or adjacent market pursuits - Identify, recruit, on-board, and support channel partners with strong relationships in the target market - Prospect for new customers who can gain significant value by working with Enel X - Drive initial engagement with prospective customers through cold-calling, social media engagement, marketing follow-up, etc. in order to schedule initial meetings - Engage with customers in technical and business investigations - Providing stakeholders with appropriate marketing literature - Prepare and present financially-driven sales proposals and presentations to prospective customers - Lead contract negotiation in coordination with corporate attorneys - Successfully close business - Complete smooth project hand-off to implementation and operations teams
- A. in engineering, business, or similar - 10+ years of well-rounded engineering, marketing, business development and technical sales experience in positions of increasing responsibility with a focus on closing business - Positive and solutions-focused mindset - Strong technical aptitude - Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams - Strong commitment to reach objectives and target goals - Flexibility and good adaptability in dynamic and unstructured contexts - Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office (mainly Excel) and data analysis tools Desired Qualifications: - Experience in energy management, demand side management, EV charging, or smart city technology - Familiarity with Salesforce.com - Commercial experience with government entities - Familiarity with financial modelling
