Enel X Position
Enel X works closely with businesses and institutions to develop, execute, and continually refine an energy strategy designed to achieve their desired outcomes through our suite of solutions and services. The Market Intelligence & Analytics intern will support the Advisory Solutions business including numerous teams and stakeholders. This individual will work on analytical projects spanning over multiple months as well as day-to-day analyses that address energy procurement related deliverables. Types of energy analyzed for customers include electricity, natural gas, other fuels, and distributed generation systems. The individual may be recruited to provide customer analysis as part of the sales process.
The ideal candidate will possess above average project management and analytical skills, as well as interpersonal and communication skills, and is eager to learn about the energy industry. A successful candidate that demonstrates the desired skills and competencies can become eligible for full time employment consideration at the conclusion of the internship.
- Collect, prepare and analyze data from different databases - Perform industry research and collate information onto customer facing software application - Prepare and analyze customer data, and create meaningful takeaways for customer reports - Support and then facilitate the production of daily, weekly, and monthly market intelligence collateral - Collects data and supports analysis enabling procurement sourcing teams - Create, enhance and maintain customer deliverable models (Excel and Software based) - Research utility rules, regulations and market trends to shape path forward decisions - Monitor wholesale energy market movements, and provide commentary to internal team - Basic office administrative duties
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral - Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-driven context - Ability to self-manage and prioritize workload across multiple projects - Demonstrated aptitude for analytics and solution-based problem solving - Strong Microsoft Excel skills - Attention to detail - Possess a driven, self-motived attitude - GPA of 3.25+ - Energy experience a definite plus Preferred Major: Business, finance, engineering, economics or a related field with a substantial interest, if not experience, in the energy industry. - Required available hours: 40 hours a week
